Section 1 - League Play

1) The NSFL is a FBPro 98 league.

2)  The NSFL is composed of 12 teams divided into 2 Conferences and 4 Divisions.

3) The NSFL plays a 12 week Regular Season Schedule.

4) 6 teams will make the playoffs. 3 division winners and then 3 best records. The top 2 Divisions winners will get a bye. The remaining 4 teams will play a wild card round via exhibition to determine who plays the top 2 teams for the conference championships.

5) All Games are played Head-to-Head.

6) If a sit in Coach is needed, the sit in Coach must use Stock Plans and Profiles if requested by the Coach that is able to play his/her game.

7)  If the game is simmed it will be simmed by the Commissioner using Stock Plans and Profiles.

8) The NSFL requires each owner to run AntiFBpc if your opponent request you do so.

9) If you do not run the application during your game and your opponent request it, you will forfeit the game.

10) If you refuse to run it in 2 games, you will be asked to step down as an Owner in the NSFL.

11) The NSFL's Landry Classic (League Championship) is played on a neutral field, alternating between the AFC and NFC as the designated home team.  The NSFL uses the ENADD program to add EN (5pts) to the visiting team to counter the -5pts taken away from the designated visting team.

Section 2 - Game Play

1) Prior to logging onto Kali or connecting via Direct IP, both owners are required to exchange game plans and profiles.

2)  Each owner is required to place their plans and profiles in the C:\Sierra\FBPRO98\Custom directory, but plans and profiles do not have to be pre loaded.

3)  If, during the game, you feel your opponent is running an illegal play-take note of the time the play was run and complete the game.

4) After the game is complete, review the film for that time and notify your opponent you are checking a play.

5)  If the play in question is indeed illegal, contact the League Officials for judgment.

6) Keep note of any correspondence between you, your opponent, and the League Officials.

Section 3 - 4th Down

1) If you are up by 14 points or less and are at your opponent's 49 yard line or less, you may attempt a 4th down conversion.

2) If you are tied or behind at any point in the game and at your opponent's 49 yard line or less, then you may attempt a 4th down conversion.

3) If you are tied or behind in the 4th qtr or behind 14 points or more in the 2nd half, then you may attempt a 4th down play anywhere on the field.

4) If at or inside the last 2 minutes of the 1st half, a 4th down may be attempted anywhere on the field by either team.

Section 4 - Substitution

1) Substitutions during a game are illegal.

Section 5 - Play Clock

1)  All offensive plays must be called at, or prior to 25 seconds remaining on the play clock.

2)  Exceptions to this are during the last six minutes of the game. 18 seconds is the minimum in this condition.

Section 6 - Onside Kick

1)  Onside kick is only legal when you are tied or behind.

Section 7 - Game Over

1) All owners are required to send the following after the completion of their games. "BOTH TEAMS"

a) GAMExxxx.out ( do not rename this file )

b) GAMExxxx.log (renamed from play.log)

c) .zip file of game film (renamed FILMxxxx.zip

c-1) At the end of you game each owner is required to zip up their film for the game just played and send it to nsfl@comcast.net. The film dead line is Mondays by 10 pm est. Unless the week has been extended by the league office. In some circumstances there will be no films created. (i.e. simmed games, games unrecoverable from crashes and only a hand full on tape were made.)  If you miss the deadline, you will forfeit 25 FA points for the first violation and the fine will double for every violation. i.e. 1st=25, 2nd = 50, 3rd = 100 and so on. If you are out of FA points for this season the penalty will carry over to next season. UPDATED 10-11-2005 (pre 2011 season)

d)  xxxx is the WEEK (i.e. 11) and the GAME (i.e. 04)
